Geordie Theatre est le principal théâtre professionnel de langue anglaise de Montréal pour un public de tous âges, divertissant et engageant l'imagination des enfants et de leurs familles depuis 1980!

Geordie Theatre entertains, provokes thought, fires up the imagination, and challenges our audiences of all ages with the unique power of professional live theatre. We celebrate theatre’s powerful impact by working with emerging and established professional artists from various disciplines and cultural backgrounds to create works that are provocative, relevant and enchanting; inspiring dialogue between communities, children and parents as well as teachers and students of all ages. We are committed to developing and adding new excellent works for Theatre For Young Audiences to the Canadian canon. We continue to build relationships with and extend our audience through inclusive practices and by visiting far away communities in Quebec and abroad. Through Geordie's Mainstage Series, an annual season of plays for family audiences presented in downtown Montreal, the company allows its young audience to have contact with new perspectives and widen their horizons through the lens of live performance. Geordie offers exciting, insightful theatre that is sure to transport all audiences to new worlds and stories!
