To join the CAL program, managers of tourist, cultural, or leisure organizations must complete the designated application form and agree to the terms of the memorandum of understanding.

What are the main commitments and responsibilities?

  • Always offer free admission to the companion of a person with a disability who holds a Leisure Companion Card (CAL). This voluntary action, with no financial compensation, is a simple gesture that promotes inclusion.
  • Inform your staff about the CAL and who is eligible to use it.
  • Promote the CAL through your communication channels (website, social media, etc.).
  • Verify the identity of the cardholder and check the expiration date of their CAL.

Important : Perfect accessibility is not a requirement to join. Chances are, your organization is already partially accessible. The CAL does not guarantee full accessibility, and cardholders are aware of this. If you wish, your IRLPH and AQLPH can support you further through consulting services, tools, and training.
