Raquettes/Crampons

Hiking in the forest is undoubtedly one of the best ways to recharge your batteries. Make the most of it! It’s the perfect opportunity to access numerous viewpoints and rediscover the magic of the Regional Park in winter. Whether you’re in the mood for a contemplative stroll or a sporty hike, you’re sure to find the perfect route! After a good snowfall, snowshoes are a must to avoid sinking too deep into the snow and tearing up the trails. However, after a few days, the trails become hardened and icy. Crampons are preferable for safe trail riding. In recent years, crampons have become increasingly popular with the Park’s clientele. Walkers and runners alike appreciate the sense of feeling of freedom and agility they impart. Please note that crampons or snowshoes must be worn on all the Park’s hiking trails. Walking in boots is never allowed.
